December 5, 2024 Ed Czechowski
The Central PA WWII Roundtable will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, December 5th, at 7:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 433 East Main Street, Hummelstown. WWII Navy Veteran Ed Czechowski will speak about his service as a gunner aboard the USS Saufley, fighting in the Pacific.
Czechowski enlisted at age 17, in 1942. During his service, he shot down several Japanese aircraft, and earned the Bronze star. He recently celebrated his 100 birthday, and still resides in his hometown of Reading, PA.
The meeting is open to the public and no registration is required.
