About the event
Jon Schulstad is a 78-year-old retired USAF officer who lives in Fairfax, Virginia, and is the son of Mel Schulstad. He served 23 years in the US Air Force, including nine years in Europe (Germany/UK). After his retirement from the USAF, he worked 24 years as a defense contractor in the Washington, DC area. He and his wife have visited Pluvigner, France on three occasions, most recently in 2018. He has assisted a French author, Hubert Le Neillon, with information on US Army Air Forces’ aircraft, munitions, tactics - and other technical subjects relating to air warfare.
